Our girls attend the King’s School in Harpenden.
Even before we moved to Harpenden, they were able to join for a period as guest students. From the very beginning, we felt this was the right place for them and we still believe that today.
The King’s School is a private school, which means there are costs involved. Thanks to a generous scholarship, we’ve just managed to keep our heads above water in recent times, and we’re very grateful for that
At the same time, we notice that the combination of inflation and rising monthly expenses is making things financially more difficult, and we are concerned about how this will continue.
Our desire is that our girls can finish their secondary school here. They have received so much support, each in their own specific areas of need and they continue to receive it, which is very special. We believe that at this stage of their lives, this is exactly the right place for them: a place of stability and excellence, of peace and growth, especially after having gone through so many changes in their younger years.
That’s why we are asking for your help: we are looking for a number of people who can support us as a family in this.

Onze meiden gaan naar de King’s School in Harpenden.
Nog voordat we naar Harpenden verhuisden, mochten ze hier al een periode als gastleerlingen meelopen. Vanaf het begin voelden we dat dit de juiste plek voor hen was en dat geloven we nog steeds.
De King’s School is een privéschool, wat betekent dat er kosten aan verbonden zijn.
Dankzij een royale beurs konden we de afgelopen tijd steeds nét het hoofd boven water houden, en daar zijn we erg dankbaar voor.
Tegelijkertijd merken we dat de combinatie van inflatie en stijgende maandelijkse lasten het financieel steeds zwaarder maakt, en we maken ons zorgen over hoe dit verder zal gaan.
Ons verlangen is dat onze meiden hun middelbare school hier kunnen afmaken. Ze hebben hier zoveel ondersteuning gekregen, ieder op hun eigen specifieke gebied van nood en dat ontvangen ze nog steeds, wat heel bijzonder is. We geloven dat dit in deze fase van hun leven precies de juiste plek voor hen is: een plek van stabiliteit en excellentie, van rust en groei, juist nadat ze in hun jonge jaren zoveel veranderingen hebben meegemaakt.
Daarom vragen we jullie hulp: we zoeken een aantal mensen die ons als gezin hierin kunnen ondersteunen.
